Lately, I’ve been reflecting a lot on Psalm 73, and it feels so relevant to what we’re facing in our country today. Like many of you, I’ve been frustrated and even heartbroken watching the direction our nation is headed. It often seems like those who push harmful agendas and reject our core values are thriving while the rest of us, who believe in faith, family, and freedom, are struggling to keep our voices heard.
Psalm 73 speaks to this exact situation. The writer felt the same way when he saw the wicked prospering. But he found hope in God, realizing that while it may seem like evil is winning now, God’s justice will ultimately prevail. That’s a powerful reminder for all of us.
It’s easy to get discouraged when we see so much darkness around us, but we can’t forget that God is our strength and our refuge. He sees what’s happening, and in His time, He will bring true justice. Our role is to stay faithful, keep standing for what’s right, and trust that He will handle the rest.
We’re in a tough fight for the culture of our nation, but we’re not in it alone. God is with us, and He is greater than any political power. Let’s keep praying for our country, speaking truth, and standing firm in faith. No matter how things look now, we know that in the end, Christ has already defeated sin and will reign forever in victory.
“Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:25-26).
