M & M Team Marks 21 Years of Biblical Outreach

MADISON, Wis.
Mel Curtiss has a passion for reaching people with the Gospel of Christ. Hes been doing it most of his life, and his ministry, the M & M Team, marked their 21st year on June 27.

In fact, since 1987, Mel and the M & M Team has presented over 16,500 programs to over 1.25 million attendees.

Through the use of awesome ventriloquist puppetry, mind-bending sleight-of-hand illusions and many illustrative stories, he ushers people of all ages into an exciting, imaginative and creative learning adventure.

Mels primary focus is biblical outreach, teaching audiences how to know the Lord Jesus as Savior, how to grow in Him day by day and also how to show Gods love in ones daily life.

Mel has always had a heart for youth. Prior to starting the M & M Team (which stands for muppets and magic), he worked as a Youth Services Officer at the Sun Prairie Police Department for many years. While there, he earned 17 Excellence in Service to Youth awards, and also authored an informational guide on the interaction of youth with police, drinking behaviors, traffic laws and good decision-making.

When God called him to start a ministry, Mel began by using his puppets and ventriloquist skills to reach audiences both young and old.
