Andrew behaved quite differently than most young boys. He spoke in a monotone and acted very distant. He generally chose to play alone. His thought pattern was negative all of the time.
Kids made fun of Andrew because he wasn’t very sociable and didn’t stand up for himself. The bullying made him feel even more self-conscious and fearful.
Thinking it might help if he went to a Christian school, Andrew asked to transfer in seventh grade. Nothing changed. Kids still made fun of him and treated him poorly.
