December Youth Camps

   December, for many African young people, is a break from school, both at the college and primary/secondary school systems.  Many countries run on a trimester system (three months of school and one month off).  Therefore, special youth activities occur during the months when students are not in school.  

   Wise Intentional Leadership Development (WILD) is an international leadership ministry in Africa and Asia committed to maturing leaders from the biblical perspective with a major focus on developing young people here and abroad.  WILD hosts pastors’ and youth conferences in all the countries WILD is involved in and impact the next generation of African leaders.   These trainings are consistently being accomplished and taught by Nationals in these countries.  

   The Zambian National team has hosted youth camps for about eight years so they offer levels of leadership training for new and repeating attendees.  For first year attenders, these students receive the core WILD leadership material.  Second year attenders receive WILD Worldview Understanding and third year participants are given the African Perspectives course (discussions of how African culture and tribal history has affected current Africa and then how to have biblical truth permeate and influence current African leadership thought).
