The Urgent Need for Biblical Counseling

   “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!  Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:20-21 (ESV).

   The need for a correct orientation through a Biblical worldview is needed now more than ever! Case in point; on August 5, 2019 the Sheboygan City Council followed suit with many other liberal cities in Wisconsin and passed an ordinance prohibiting conversion therapy on minors.

   The ordinance states “Conversion therapy is defined in the ordinance as any practices or treatments offered for a fee that try to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity including efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions or to eliminate or reduce sexual attractions or romantic attractions or feelings towards individuals of the same gender.”

   Mike Nalley, who attended the City Council meeting with his Pastor, stated, “The District Attorney would not close the door that paid Pastors could face prosecution if they violate this ordinance.”
