2020 Vision

   As 2019 comes to a close, many of us will cast our thoughts toward 2020.  We will begin to create a list of commitments to ourselves, and sometimes to our God; about what we resolve to do (or not to do) in the new year.

   What do you see for 2020?  Is your vision 20/20 for the new year?  How we see ourselves is primarily influenced by our understanding of how God sees us.

   His vision for your 2020 is most definitely 20/20.  For He knows the plans He has for you! (Jeremiah 29:11) AND He knows you! (Psalm 139).  But how you see what 2020 holds depends on your understanding of how God sees you.

   So, how does God see you?  My dear Brother or Sister, God sees you as a pearl and a petal.  Let me explain; we’ll start with the pearls...
   There’s a passage in the Bible, very short, about a treasure, a pearl of great value.

   Mathew 13:44-46, “The Kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
