At a time when America is undergoing a historic tranformation due to the social and economic pressures not to mention the philosopical influences promulgated in the political and educational arenas of our society, we are now witnessing the undermining of the patriotic ferver which once gracefully characterized our nation.
Many of us find the blatant disrespect for “Old Glory” as being ignorant at best, and repulsive, to say the least. As a veteran with 21 years service in the Navy and Army Guard, and the son of a WW2 veteran, and great-grand son of a veteran who fought in the civil war to free black Americans, I find it a disgrace to see Americans cowtowing to those who are seeking to tear the Constitution apart and subvert the pillars of freedom which distinguish us from any other nation UNDER ALMIGHTY GOD.
It is gratifying to hear our president defend the flag inspite of the $245,000 lawsuit brought against the Fed by the followers of the late Forty-Niners quarterback who flagrantly desecrated the National Anthem and Flag some years recent. Who would have guessed that so many of his dumb sheep would be out plundering and destroying our cities and throwing bricks and concrete at our Peace-Officers.
