The Lies of the churches

   One of my previous articles was called, “The Great Lie Of The Church!”

   I really wanted to avoid hitting on this subject again so soon but it really is the root of why there are so few on that narrow way that leads to eternal life. There is nothing as important in the Christian faith as dying to ourselves and putting our complete faith and trust in Jesus Christ and repenting (the turning away from our sins; not just feeling bad about them and continuing in them!)

   After that, it is fulfilling the Great Commission, the spreading of the precious Gospel that saves and warning those who have stepped off the righteous path and the lost. After all, if we profess to be genuine Christians, we have the greatest antidote, the Gospel, to the greatest cancer of humanity, sin.

   And, after that, it is loving our neighbors as ourselves. And, who are our neighbors? No, they are not the “rich guys” next door to you. They are the afflicted, the destitute, the oppressed, the orphans, the fatherless, those unable to speak up for themselves, those “crying out for mercy,” “being led away to death,” staggering towards slaughter, or as Jesus so CLEARLY STATED, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for the ‘least of these,’ you did not do for Me.” WOW!  Let THAT sink in for a minute!
