Before we start any discussion with regard to the 2020 Presidential results or lack thereof, we should probably have an honest discussion about recent political polls. To start with, and let’s be honest here, the purpose of modern day polls is no longer to report what is happening but to make something happen. The process here is nothing less than voter jury tampering by the manipulation and selected presentation of “facts.”
In reviewing the 2020 election, Joe Biden was assumed to have had leads in double digits going into Election Day. Just show up, vote and then crown Joe. But a funny thing happened on the way to the coliseum. Citizen Joe was not standing on the podium as anticipated. Worse yet, as the days fly by, a definitive election result is still nowhere on the horizon.
So what does the pollster camp do? We are already seeing mia culpa coming from the leftist news media. In a post-election editorial, the Wall Street Journal noted that “by making the 2020 race ‘close,’ and perhaps taking it into overtime, Mr. Trump has pulled off a second huge political surprise. At least a few pollsters might be looking for a new line of work.”
