MEDIA ASSAULT -- Controlling the Narrative

   Back in the 1980s, former high ranking KGB officer-turned-Defector,  Yuri Bezmenov, allowed this author to interview him at length. Yuri was quite concerned that the communist strategies and tactics over which he had presided as an elite KGB officer for so long, were now playing out far more successfully, especially – an alarmingly – throughout the West and U.S. media.

   Yuri told this author that THE most strategically important asset of the Russian Communist Military (and that of Red China) were the more than 100,000 journalists, editors and key media personnel which worked for the KGB INSIDE the media of the United States.  Let that sink in. 

   Yuri’s position was vital because he was an essential high ranking KGB officer who worked with and for THE most important weapon of International Marxism (Communism) — the over 100K media individuals, coordinated out of Moscow and Beijing. 

   In an interview (1984) with author G. Edward Griffin, Yuri explained the KGB searches diligently worldwide to build extensive networks of local informants and journalists. They search for people they can bribe, blackmail, brainwash or otherwise control, as sources of information and subversive activity.
