   “Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”  (Jude 3 NASB).

   In the previous article we studied what Jesus taught us concerning the doctrine of demanding prayer. We know that God does not do anything in the earth without first revealing it to His prophets. (Amos 3:7).  He revealed His intentions concerning the born-again experience in Ezkiel 36:26-27. He revealed His intentions of bestowing heavenly supernatural power upon the saints in Joel 2:28-29, Matthew 3:11, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:49 and Acts 1:8. In similar fashion, the Father and the Son, prophesied to us their intentions concerning demanding prayer in Isaiah 45:11.

   “Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, ask Me of things to come concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands COMMAND YE ME.”  (Isaiah 45:11 KJV).

   The evening prior to Jesus’ torture and murder, He gathered His disciples together to celebrate the Passover. Jesus knew that He was about to die.
