Chosen To Serve A Purpose

  From the very beginning even Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:12-19), an angel created of God was chosen of Him to be the most perfect in beauty, full of wisdom.  Chosen to be a covering angel in the garden of Eden; to protect, to hedge in, and to ever shadow all of God’s creation, ‘til inequity was found in him.  “Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground.  I will lay before kings, that they may behold thee.”  You have chosen to defile your holy place by the multitude of your evil thinking, by your plotting to corrupt God’s creation, in the end this will devour thee in the sight of men that behold thee to terrify them, and ye shall know no more.

   Also in Isaiah 14:12-24 it describes his reasoning for refusing to serve God’s purpose, that he said in his heart; “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation. I will ascend above the height of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”  Whether angels, or man, created in the image of God, all have been given a free will. We all have the choice to serve God’s purpose, or not!
