In my personal experiences from over the 42 years of working with others in the ministry for the glory of God, these are some of the things that I have noticed, and I have come to learn for an effective teamwork for the Lord’s glory:
GENUINE RELATIONSHIP with Those You Work With:
I have come to learn that a great teamwork for God’s glory should and must be GENUINE. Honesty is what people prefer, not just words spoken to please their ears. Honesty show people that you really care for them.
Good Communication:
When each one is appreciated and respected, I have seen people just light up on the team. I know when people are corrected with respect, kindness, and love, they are more willing to listen.
Clearly Defined Responsibilities of Each Team Member:
On my recent trip, when I formed the Board of Trustees and defined and gave them the role of the Board according to their Constitution, they ran with it! They have had more meetings as a Board than we have had here. They understood their role.
