You Can Have a Life-Changing Youth Ministry

What could be more important in todays world than raising up our youth to be men and women of integrity, solidly grounded in the the Scriptures with a biblical worldview?

It is more and more difficult today, with multiple forms of media and entertainment vying for the attention of children and teens, most of which is not wholesome or beneficial. Parents turn to the church for help, but in many cases, youth workers are volunteers with little or no good training or experience to help them help the kids.

So often, leaders think that if they have a curriculum, they can lead a youth group, but theres a lot more to it than just a curriculum, said Mike Prom. Mike is the Executive Director at Headwaters Christian Youth, (HCY), an exciting, dynamic ministry, passionately reaching young people with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus.

Headwaters Christian Youth is Reaching Teens For Christ, in the great northwoods of Wisconsin. Located three hours straight north of Madison, HCY has a great deal to offer teenagers. HCY works with Junior High and Senior High teens throughout the north central area of Wisconsin and into the upper peninsula of Michigan. You do not have to be affiliated with a church or even go to church. The folks at HCY want kids to be involved with other students, enjoying activities teens love to get in to.
