Professional Muslims cannot speak without using propaganda, for lying is the foundation of Islam. Muslims are given permission by Allah in the Qur’an to lie even when they are swearing in an oath, as in Qur’an 2:225: “Allah will not hold you responsible for your mere utterance in an oath…” It is also lawful for Muslims to deny their faith. Qur’an 16:106: “whoever becomes an infidel in Allah after he believed, except one who was compelled and his heart is secure in faith.”
