In Matthew 22:18-21, we have the account where a group of Pharisees confront Jesus for a “yes” or “no” answer about whether it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, the Roman emperor. Jesus responded by then asking them whose face was engraved on the coins used to pay the taxes. When they answered that it was Caesar’s face, “Then saith He unto them, ‘Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s.’” (Matthew 22:21 KJV).

The Lord wants us to prepare ourselves to be ready for His will. Many things and events are taking place that are a fulfillment of prophecies throughout the Word of God.
