In 2009, I happened to meet Mike Prom, the International Director of WILD, who was visiting his friend at a missions conference in Wisconsin. I was introduced to him by his friend with whom I was participating in a leadership seminar. After the meeting, he told me that he worked for WILD, which provides leadership training for two third world churches and lay leaders. He handed me the WILD manual on leadership called “Spiritual Leadership Training.” As I glanced over the materials, I felt that I found a gold mine. I was excited because the material was all about leadership principles drawn from the lives of Bible characters whom God used in so many ways through their failures and strengths.
Leadership training should be based on the Bible characters and principles rather than teaching from theories and principles developed from the worldly perspective which is hard for a person to identify with in their daily lives. WILD material ...
