With the violent lawlessness on full display in Portland, Seattle, Milwaukee, Kenosha, New York City, Chicago, and Minneapolis (where it all began), we see firsthand what happens when we replace a republic (rule of law) with democracy (mob rule). Go online and type in three words “founding father’s democracy” in your search engine and read for yourself the contempt the Founders had for democracy. When lawlessness takes hold and the police aren’t permitted to do their jobs, it enables the anarchist mobs, sending them this message, “If there are enough of you AND you have the ‘right’ cause (‘right cause’ being decided by communists in government, media and entertainment circles, of course), your uprisings will be permitted.” Violence, looting, setting fires, and taking over whole blocks of cities are NOT peaceful protesting. Vile thugs are being allowed by those in authority to paint on streets, topple statues, block and re-direct traffic, loot and set fires, and worse — the law-abiding are told if they defend themselves and their property with a gun, they will be prosecuted. To top it all off, taxpayers will be expected to pay for the cleanup even though they have dutifully paid taxes for public services like upkeep and protection.
Those in authority are even condoning the lawlessness by participating in it. I’m sure New York City has ordinances about defacing public property, but tell that to Mayor Bill DeBlasio painting BLM graffiti on a section of 5th Avenue pandering and caving in to the mob. But if you are not BLM or Antifa, you better obey city ordinances or else.
Now, Republicans correctly point out that Mayors Wheeler, Lightfoot, Antaramian (Kenosha), and Durkan are all Democrats, but they conveniently leave out one key point: one of the duties of a sitting president is to secure citizens’ natural rights codified in our Bill of Rights, defend the lives and property of all citizens and protect the states from attack and/or invasion. When anarchists took over six blocks of Seattle and declared it to be CHAZ (the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone), walled off the area and posted guards armed with AR-15s who checked your ID before you could enter (like nations do at their borders), took over public buildings like the police station, and posted signs saying “you are now leaving the United States,” they committed an act of insurrection.
So, did President Trump invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807, send in troops to put down the uprising, then rescue (yes, rescue) Americans under siege in their homes and cities? No, President Trump’s solution to CHAZ was to go on Twitter and tweet to Governor Inslee and the mayor of Seattle, “Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will.” But he didn’t. Instead, the president sent in federal agents to protect federal buildings. In Portland, thugs trapped those agents inside the federal courthouse there and tried to set it on fire. Even communist Mayor Wheeler was forced to admit the rioters were “attempting to commit murder.”
So, in Seattle and leftist-controlled cities across America, citizens are being failed and betrayed by their local governments (the mayors), the state governments (the governors), and their federal government (the president). Even Trump supporters like radio host Michael Savage said the reason the president didn’t send in troops is because the left would have called him a Nazi and a dictator if he did. And? The Left has been calling President Trump a tyrant when he isn’t sending in troops. The Left will hate this president no matter what, so he might as well show leadership and do the right thing.
Don’t misunderstand me: the mayors and governors who allowed the rioting and rebellion are responsible and they should be prosecuted, not just voted out of office. I am not blaming the president for these uprisings, just saying he does have it within his power to stop them.
Understand how despicable these craven communists are. They allowed their constituents who obey the law to suffer and have their livelihoods destroyed because they think the riots will hurt President Trump politically. These Leftist Democrat idiots don’t realize that the same mob they support today can turn on them tomorrow. By the way, CNN... If these protestors are all so peaceful, why did you put fences up around your studio? I thought you said that keeping people out with fences is immoral?
Earlier this year, when a man in Seattle tried to remove a sign which read “Welcome to the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” the mob prevented him, taking away the ladder he was standing on. A fight broke out and a woman asked, “Is anyone in charge here?” Of course, the simple answer to her question is whoever can control the mob is in charge of it…until he’s not, once the fickle mob decides to follow someone else the next day and so on. No orderly transition of power, just raw power and brute force imposed on the seething masses.
There is no stability in a democracy. Remember what happened with the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings? The mob decided that the mere accusation of sexual assault was enough to deny Kavanaugh a hearing or even a chance to sit on the high court. One of democracy’s first casualties is natural rights which includes presumption of innocence and burden of proof. In a democracy (or communism), you have the rights (aka government-granted “privileges”) the masses SAY you have…until they change their collective minds and you no longer have those either. In a republic, your private property is protected by natural rights, your deed, and the enforcement of your deed by the authorities who work for ‘We the People’ (police, courts, prisons) so that if said property is stolen, you can get it back and bring the thief to justice. In a democracy, if someone stronger than you want your land or house, it’s his. If you try and resist, a piece of paper that says “Deed” on the top won’t stop the thief’s bullet…and there will be no police to turn to, no courts to seek justice in.
Democracy always descends into anarchy where the mob can spare someone’s business one day, decide to burn it down the next. You can’t reason with a mob. They have a logic all their own where common sense and facts are verboten.
This is why we must have the structure and stability of a republican form of government and the rule of law that comes with it. Americans must be allowed to defend themselves…and no, we don’t need permission from our elected officials or some bureaucrat to defend ourselves, even if the police and Guard are allowed to act. American citizens have natural, God-given rights which sworn-in members of Congress and the President are duty-bound to secure for us.
Those of us on the right opposed Obama, but we didn’t loot, burn and maim our political opposition when he was in office. We would never conceive of doing such things. That’s what dictators and their supporters do in third-world countries to keep any threat to their power suppressed. Is that what America has become? Who will stop all the terror? Democrats who are cheering it on? Republicans who won’t fulfill their constitutional duties and stop it? Seek out the Constitution Party…while you still have that choice.
