Question: How Should We Respond When Someone Asks, I believe in God, but I dont see a need for church...why should we attend a church regularly?

When I read this months question, the first Scripture verse that popped into my head was James 2:19... Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
When it comes right down to where the rubber meets the road, it isnt a matter of what you or I or someone else thinks or feels, but what really matters is what does the Bible (the word of God) say about these things!
Whether you or I decide to believe that God exists isnt going to make God any more or any less a reality. When our time on earth is over and we stand before God to be judged, the question will not be whether or not you believe God exists, the question will be what did you do with My SON? I John 5:12 says, He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
The other question seems to be more about whether it is important or not to gather together with a Body of Believers (meaning a church). Even nature teaches us the importance of safety in numbers. Herding animals stay together to protect the vulnerable and the young against predators. I Peter 5:8 tells us that Satan prowls about like a lion - waiting to strike.
