“Therefore let us be Imitators of Christ!” As a 3-year-old son follows his daddy as he goes about his work, imitating his every move, so should we be imitating Christ’s every move. Are our actions the actions of Christ?
What is a Christian? Merriam-Webster says, “anyone who professess the teachings of Jesus Christ.” How does the general populace define Christianity? Why do Muslims hate Christians? They have been deceived, just as we have, that America is a ‘Christian’ nation, and from what they see of America via Hollywood, you can’t blame them for hating Christians.
What do we see among the majority of Christendom today? Fearful (esp. in this time of COVID and Election), Unbelieving, Immodesty, Immorality (fornication, masturbation, same sex marriages), Divorce and Remarriage (Adultery), Hatred, Gossiping, Gluttony, drunkenness, Dishonesty (cheating, lying), Idolatry (anything we love more than God), the list continues. Most of the above is ‘sanctioned’ by the ‘heads’ of the so-called Christian organizations, thereby deceiving and leading many astray. Confusion!
