Issues the Candidates Refused to Address

   If the 2020 Democrat and Republican presidential and congressional candidates didn’t care enough to talk about these issues before the election when they needed your votes, they will never address them after they are sworn in. So, whomever wins the presidency and whichever major party goes on to control the House and Senate, I promise you these issues will continue to be ignored…at our nation’s peril.

 • The national debt.  We have over twenty-seven trillion dollars of debt and now three trillion-dollar deficits, voted through by both Democrats and Republicans who have controlled our federal legislative and executive branches of government. Neither major party can say, “You can’t blame us for this debt. How could anyone possibly have known that spending more than you bring in year after year, decade after decade could lead to a massive debt?”  Friends, that is like someone saying, “Of course I left my stalled car on the railroad track and didn’t try to have it moved. You can’t blame me for that. There is no way any one could have known that eventually a train would come and hit it.”  (https://usdebtclock.org/).
