‘Community Organizers’ Deceiving the ‘Very Elect’

   Is it possible for men of great wisdom and faith to be momentarily misled, impulsively reactive, or deceived?  Based on the very foundation of our faith, that question would seem redundant.  

   Black Lives Matter (BLM) has been skillful in their duplicitous persuasion of numerous evangelical groups since their inception seven years ago.  Some are highly predictable; The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), The United Church of Christ (UCC), and The Presbyterian Church U.S.A (PCUSA) all habitually affirm progressive theologies and liberal political causes.  Their deception required minimal effort.  

   Others, however, were slightly more unexpected.  

   For example, Intervarsity Fellowship, a historically conservative, evangelical college campus ministry hosted a young female director of worship from Missouri in 2016, who delivered an impassioned speech to student followers regarding why the evangelical church should support the BLM movement. Though the lecture received some anticipated pushback, the media praised her courage while numerous progressive Christians in academia adored her leftist ideologies.
