Absolute Evil

   God is the Author of good. Jesus said there is only One Who is good, and He was talking about God our Father.  Jesus, of course, was also good, since He and the Father are One. Jesus asked the people to find any sin in Him, and no one could. John 1: 29, “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!’”

   As we know, Jesus was God’s perfect Lamb who would take away the sin of the world. Only Jesus Christ could take away sin by His sacrifice on the cross by His atoning death, and Jesus rose from the grace for our justification. God, by His marvelous grace through faith in the blood of Jesus, declares a condemned person not guilty!

    We live in evil times!  Read 2 Timothy 3 and you will see our society has become more and more like this. I believe our nation was always a Christian nation, holding tightly to God’s commands, founded on God’s commands, built, and kept by God’s grace as we have attempted to live by God’s moral principles.  We have not been a perfect country of perfect people. There has been way too much sin in our country to make it heaven on earth.
