(NOTE: Expanded version including more background info and Scripture references will be posted at our website.)In times that are far beyond normal, we continue press in, to watch and pray, (Matthew 26:41) and to pray that our flight not take place in winter or on Sabbath, (Matthew 24:20) and that we may be found worthy to escape that which MUST come on the earth, and found worthy to stand before the Son of Man, (Luke 21:36) as we understood to do so many years ago.
From 1990-95, I was in a steep learning curve professionally and spiritually, learning how to be of help to those who came to me for help to get out of witchcraft and the ritual abuse of satanic backgrounds…psychologically and spiritually. These two areas came together in recognition of the need to draw close to Messiah in order to find spiritual freedom as well as preparing Messiah’s Bride for His return.
Individual and Corporate Levels Need to be Recognized
I have had exposure to the schemes of the adversary as they seem to be working out in the spheres of the world: socioeconomic, political and religious institutions — the macro picture — as well as up close personal familiar contact with the micro schemes of the evil one as he works through individuals on a very personal level of control.
Over the past year, I have written several times of the “macro” picture I see in the outworking of the Hegelian Dialectic to herd people into various positions and how it applies to the three agendas represented in the two trees in the garden. Our discernment needs to be turned on full scope lest even the elect, if possible, be deceived! (Matthew 24:24, Mark 13:22).
Today I want to share what has become apparent in my individual work with people prayerfully seeking to be fully free of the evil one’s schemes in their personal lives, having endured a lifetime, and sometimes generations of involvement with evil.
In all previous study of the end times, I was somehow expecting that life would proceed on a somewhat normal path, until God gave the signal that it was now time, and the evil one would then begin executing the larger plan to overcome the believers and draw as many as possible to the false messiah. While this is somewhat true, there is a more hidden parallel, too.
The Adversary Mimics or Mirrors Our God’s Ways
We have understood that the Holy Spirit takes up residence in us as believers upon our acceptance, in faith, of Messiah Yeshua and His work on our behalf. Many have believed that this process of salvation is all that is really needed, but others know that there is an ongoing work of sanctification afterwards. (Colossians 1:9-10, Ephesians 4:14-15 among many). During our life’s journey in this world, the Spirit is working in and through us to bring us to maturity, holiness and righteousness, to become more and more like Messiah Yeshua, our Head. We can’t exactly pinpoint just how this is done, nor could we dissect a physical body to see the inworking, but we have faith and trust in His process. This sanctification process is meant to grow us up from children of God to fully mature sons and daughters, with clean hands and pure hearts, not seeking after other little “g” gods. As He sanctifies, He can more and more fully freely give His Spirit, understanding and authority. He has called us “living stones,” which are to be built up into a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:4-6) all having to do with His gift of LIFE to us! Ultimately Messiah will return for His Bride, those said to be written in the Book of Life, who have the testimony of Yeshua and keep the commandments of God. (Rev. 14:12; 12:17). These saints by the myriads will be part of the army that defeats the anti christ under Yeshua’s command, (Jude 1:14) and will ultimately sit with Him at the right hand of God the Father. (Ephesians 2:6).
The unholy mirror is this: unlike my previous thought that the adversary would only begin the work of deception when given the “go ahead” near the end of time, I can now see how this preparation has actually been in process for generations as well. I see how the micro process is building up to a macro outpouring. In a mirrored opposite way, much as the Holy Spirit takes up residence in Believers, so does an unholy spirit associate itself with those who agree or are deceived into agreement. Over time, in the mirrored opposite to being built up in sanctification, those people who serve evil, and the unholy spirit(s) are subtly working within the individual to further and further defile them, to draw them toward evil; to instill a fear and obedience to the adversary based on intimidation, ritual and demonic empowerment often through generational agreement of their ancestors, usually totally unknown to the individual. Within them there is a spirit of death, making them into powerful yet spiritually dead stones, like grave markers, to become the highway and house through which the false messiah will eventually come and be accepted by the masses.
It gets even deeper when the concept of being dissociative is added in. (Brief description of Dissociation: The ability to “mentally go away” constructing amnesiac barriers in the mind, splitting off parts of the soul — mind, will, emotions — in order to hide the extent of the unholy work in both the spiritual and psychological sense. There is a normal coping mechanism to do this if children are traumatized and can’t physically escape BUT those that serve evil have intentionally used this base and created methods based in trauma, drugs, and Virtual Reality more recently, to magnify and manipulate the process.)
Along with generations of using unholy spiritual entities to entrap people, within the last century or so, knowledge of the specific workings of the soul: mind, will and emotions, has been added to create what was once considered unbreakable mind control. Although there is resistance to accept this dual reality, from both psychological and theological perspectives, I have witnessed this intertwining of both psychological and spiritual elements. Dealing with either element alone has not proven sufficient for individual freedom. And when the individual is not getting free, they are also being used as an unholy conduit to influence those around them.
Many people with generational backgrounds of satanic worship and forced agreement to work evil are totally amnesiac to what is being built within them, while in the life that they are connected and familiar with, they are appearing to or genuinely growing in faith to Messiah at the same time. When they are in recovery, this is totally devastating and horrifying for the believing individual to learn these things have gone on.
For those who serve evil using this enslavement of others, it is a high goal for them to create such hidden control that their victims can attain status and leadership in both the Godly House of Life and the house of death at the same time, all the better to be able to infiltrate the House of Life. This has been referred to as “weaponization”: using individuals to sabotage assemblies, through subtle and not so subtle means.
This subtle hidden mechanism built in under the proverbial radar of a believer I now see as part of the long term plan of defilement, and the preparation of death to use as many people as possible, as sources of energy and activity to bring in the antichrist….the dragon preparing the way for both the sea and the land beast to be successful!
It IS possible now to break through all of this and prayerfully assist the individual toward freedom, but it is a process requiring faith, perseverance, commitment, resources and time. The individual sanctification process, and its mirror of defilement process are more fully exposed now. I can see ever more clearly how the individual/micro scheme feeds the corporate/macro scheme to cause the falling away of the assembly.
May our Messiah continue to expose the schemes of the adversary AND raise up many YHWH Honoring people to learn how to stand with those who want to be freed! Our hope and prayer is that this exposure of the “mirror process” will open many eyes for restoration! The need is great! Those who learn to prayerfully help are in the same process our SAM mission statement impressed upon us. (Hebrews 10:32-39).
