‘Do This in Remembrance of Me’ (Part Five)

    Remember!  All that our Lord God has done as Creator of “All things which were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17), “and, behold it was very good” Genesis 1:31.  The Apostle Paul elaborates further on this subject in Acts 17:23, “For as I passed by, and behold your devotion I found an alter with this inscription, ‘To The Unknown God’.  Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, Him declare I unto you.”  

   Statistics today show most Christians are so biblically illiterate that they know so little about God, they have so little to remember to give them confidence in His greatness and faithfulness to meet their every need.  So many claiming to be a Christian do so in vain, expecting God to serve them while they continue to serve other gods of this world.  (Isaiah 13:24).

   The Apostle Paul continues in Acts 17:24 to describe the One and only true “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth (whether we make Him our God or not, and He) dwelleth not in temples made with hands.”  Do we think for one minute He is impressed with our church buildings, when all He wants is our heart?  “Neither is (He) worshipped with men’s hand.”  We can sing our praises to God with raised hand, but to no avail if ...
