How gullible are you? If I told you that the origins of the universe could be explained by “imaginary time,” would you believe me? I’ll be straight forward with you, I believe Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth.” I have never heard of that verse being explained by “imaginary time,” however, that concept was used by the late legendary scientist, Stephen Hawking, in his book, “A Brief History of Time,” trying to explain “the Big Bang.”
Some time ago a friend thought I needed “educating’ and recommended I read that book. I’ve always been open to learning, so I borrowed a copy from the library. Later, I bought a used copy at a book store, because folks I talked to wouldn’t believe me, when I told them about his use of “imaginary time” in explaining the Big Bang. I’d like to cite more from that book, but these few excerpts may hopefully suffice.
