I remember when I first went through the process of breaking — that is where the Lord comes into your life, breaks you down in order to show you who you are, not to show you who He is (Matthew 3:2; Psalm 51:17; 2 Corinthians 7:10-11). Remember, until a man is nothing, God can make nothing out of him (Galatians 2:20).
I also remember when I first was being raised up in Him (Ephesians 4:15), and was asked to give my testimonial by a youth pastor at a local church.
After giving my testimonial, which was not how bad I was as a sinner but how good Christ is as a Savior (Matthew 1:21), I became involved helping things move forward with the youth group.
