Some in society concern themselves with pollutions of water and air. But who concerns themselves with the pollutions of mind and heart? Children come to us with a pure heart of innocence. And who cares about all the pollutions that are fed these innocent minds through modern media! Many educational institutions begin early to pollute the minds of children with perverted sexual education. They are taught lies about origins. Youth are taught to think about life in an unholy way. Pornography freely floats on the airwaves of internet and further expedites the wholesale pollutions of minds and hearts. Sin of any kind pollutes, so how, then, will anyone in today’s world find a pure heart?
The Bible gives us direction. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind…shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed [made clean] but ye are sanctified [made holy] but ye are justified [released from condemnation] in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
