We are His workmanship by the New Birth. Many who wear the name “Christian” are not His workmanship, and they do no good works for the cause of Christ. In fact, some are a detriment to Him and His cause. Many in the pulpit are not His workmanship, and they do not declare the full counsel of God.
When one is in His workmanship good works will be brought forth: “I am the Vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
The following verse is either ignored or neglected by the Church today. Whatever the case, it is not being upheld or adhered to: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10).
Preachers and pew sitters acknowledge Ephesians 2:8,9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” Even though that is true, many fail to read or enact Ephesians chapter two verse ten, and do nothing of the good works of which God has ordained.
