In the last few weeks, I have been blessed to speak with and attempt to guide three “pastors” (I quote it because I believe them to be wolves, not shepherds!), two men who are leading their Men’s Bible Studies and several esteemed members of several of the local churches.
I have also been able to minister to three separate homeschool parents, who all have large families and who were all homeschooled as well. And, as most homeschool families homeschool primarily because of their faith, these three parents also homeschool because of their faith.
The stunning pattern I have observed in speaking with all these individuals is that none of them are sharing the Gospel to lost souls outside of their churches or their families; none of them are doing anything for their neighbors, let alone, the “least of these” and, none of them are doing anything about the thousands of children, who continue to be tortured to death, daily, from abortion.
And, not surprisingly, none of them hand out Christian tracts. In fact, most of them did not even know what a Christian tract is!
How is it possible to be raised as a Christian and to intentionally decide to raise your own children to be Christian, and to spend your entire life in conservative churches, and still not know Jesus Christ? And most of these in ...
