Pro Life Wisconsin Celebrates 15 Years

BROOKFIELD, Wis.
Pro-Life Wisconsin recently marked its 15-year anniversary at its Annual Auction Dinner on September 28. What began as an organization of 300 pro-life activists dedicated to the idea of total protection for every child has grown to represent over 30,000 families across the state.
In 1992, almost 20 years after Roe v. Wade, Pro-Life Wisconsin was founded as a new statewide educational and legislative pro-life organization serving the forgotten preborn babies of Wisconsin. The vision for this new organization was shared by dedicated and seasoned pro-lifers who realized that the pro-life movement needed to refocus on principle to achieve total protection for all preborn children. All preborn babies are persons and all innocent persons share the inalienable right to life.
Pro-Life Wisconsin continues to take this no compromise message to the State Capitol in Madison advocating and testifying on behalf of innocent human life, said Peggy Hamill, PLW?Executive Director. Pro-Life Wisconsin has worked tirelessly to outlaw human embryonic stem cell research and human cloning in Wisconsin, striving to make Wisconsin a leader in both biotechnology and bioethics while preserving and defending the life of every human being, regardless of size or age of development.
