What Does the Bible Say about Women in Ministry?

Women serving as pastors and preachers is likely one of the most discussed subjects in the church today. It aint a cut n dry issue betwixt men and women because theres a lotta women folks who dont like the idea of women pastors as well. The Bible itself sets some restrictions on the ministry of women, and on the flip side theres a lotta men who see nothing wrong with women serving as preachers.
Again, it doesnt matter so much what I think or what someone says is right or wrong - what really matters is what Gods word has to say about this subject. I Timothy 2:10-14 has a lot to say about this subject. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. Women should listen and learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them. Let them listen quietly. For God made Adam first, and afterward He made Eve. And it was the woman, not Adam, who was deceived by Satan, and sin was the result.
In other words, God assigned different roles to men and women as a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world.
The Apostle Pauls writing set limits on the role of women saying that women should not have spiritual authority over men.
