God-Mobile Takes the Gospel to the Fair

A most unique ministry has developed in the last few years as the Full Gospel Business Mens Fellowship has taken on an opportunity to reach out to the lost around them. The God Mobile, a mobile trailer, designed for personal evangelism, is taken to county fairs all over the nation.
There are well over 50 such mobile units across the country, leading the lost to the Savior. President Jerry Thomas of the Milwaukee chapter purchased a God Mobile for their use in 2003.
While most efforts at evangelism are a struggle to find people who will listen as someone explains the wonderful Gospel message, the God Mobile is unique in that people come to it, seeking the answers to their many spiritual questions. They want to know the answer to the question, Are you Going to Heaven? They are impacted at the fair as they see a large sign above the trailer, asking them, and inviting them to come and find the answer by taking a brief, two question test.
At first, some think it is a gimmick. Others realize immediately, it is something they long to know. Whatever intrigues them, they come, and in doing so, they learn that their good works, their church attendance, their Bible reading, their doing the best they can is not good enough. Many have gone to church all their lives, done good things for people, helped others, but when they learn that the Bible teaches us that it takes more than good deeds to get to heaven, they are surprised and ready to listen.
