That short message provides an accurate description of Steve Foster himself; a man with a passion to be obedient to Gods calling, a man with an endless energy for baseball, boundless enthusiasm to reach others through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Ministry, and a strong, compassionate love for his family.
Its Fosters zest for life that has endeared him to others, from kids playing stickball on the streets of the Dominican Republic, to players and coaches he has met on the athletic field; from high school students and adults who enroll in his Fostering Lifeskills Program, to those he reaches through his involvement in the FCA Ministry. All who know or meet him agree, Steve Foster knows only one way to live life passionately!
It was his passion for baseball that helped Foster realize his childhood dream to one day pitch in the major leagues. Attending DeSoto high school in Texas, Foster compiled an amazing record of 44-4, leading his high school to the state championship his senior year by pitching back to back victories.
