I loved church. I loved singing what I called God Songs. My father was an executive with Kimberly Clark, a paper salesman who dealt with the nations largest accounts. He adored my Mother. We frequently entertained clients in our home. With siblings 13 years older and off to college, I was the little darling who, if she behaved like a grown up, could stay up and enjoy undeserved special attention.
The evening usually included my singing. I used to tell my Dad when I was older, that I wished Id been on commission, believing that my sweet performances closed many a deal.
Endless summers were spent on the shores of Long Island Sound. It was a wonderful time of my life. God was everywhere. I loved my parents.
