While pastors across Wisconsin sat inactive and silent for the last three months regarding a suit brought by the ACLU and a group of homosexuals to impugn God’s design for marriage, a Federal judge has now trampled our State’s Constitution. The Federal tyrant, Judge Barbara Crabb, subsequently refused to either command or forbid county clerks to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals.
The question now presents itself: What do we do?
First, contact your county clerk and declare the following to them:
1). Our State Constitution forbids homosexuals from marrying.
2). State law nowhere recognizes homosexual marriage. (In fact, before the Constitutional Amendment was passed by Wisconsinites in 2006, the homosexuals decried the effort because “state law already does not recognize homosexual marriages).
3). Nowhere in Judge Crabb's opinion/ruling are county clerks ordered or given authority to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals. Therefore they should not issue marriage licenses to homosexuals.
Second, if your county clerk is already issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals, contact your county sheriff and declare the following to them (below is what I said and wrote to the Sheriff here in Milwaukee County):
