It is an undeniable fact that the evil we do not contest is the evil in which we agree! Sins of omission—the sin of doing nothing at all—that is the great sin of the Christian Church! While we complain about the great evils of our day, I find it almost impossible to find anyone willing to fight against the great evils of our day. Sure, most everyone is willing to pray about the problem—but God does not want us to petition Him for things He has already ordered. There is a great difference between praying for something beyond our control and praying for something within our control.
In His Great Commission Jesus commanded His followers to evangelize. Have you led ONE person to Christ? I am sorry to say that I believe most of you have not. But, are you aware that in His Great Commission Jesus never told us ONLY to evangelize. He also told us to make disciples—which he said involves "teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matt. 28:20). To disobey, all we have to do is nothing! Say nothing—do nothing—and we are guilty! "For him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin" (James 4:17).
