I was amused by all the nonsense that followed Donald Trump’s opinion on what a hero is. Did you notice about 90% of the negatives were from anti American, left wing newspapers, puppet journalists? Examples: Dana Mitbank and Kathleen Parker of the Socialist Washington Post. Judy Rubin, left winger from Philadelphia Inquirer, Gene Lyon, anti-capitolist writer for the Arkansas Times. All the Marxist journalists for the NY Times. Even the little Baptist Des Moines Register gave their pathetic socialist views.
I just happen to have known four POW personally. Two from WWII and two from Korea. WWII, a friend was a POW of the Japanese. The other WWII POW was my second cousin Wordy Jones, POW Germany 1942-1945. They called themselves survivors.
In Korea, a friend named Frankie and another named Fritz were POW. They also considered themselves survivors. I never heard the word “hero” from any of the four. I believe John McCain relishes being called a hero. That’s his demeanor. Both McCain and John Kerry are real big on themselves. One a progressive and one a liberal, they’re one in the same.
