Christian Ministry Aims to Transform Culture by Equipping Parents, Writers, and Artists

   The readers of the Wisconsin Christian News aren’t surprised at how fast American culture has gone south this summer, but the larger Christian community seems to be shell-shocked.  Obamacare and gay marriage were ruled constitutional by a seemingly illiterate Supreme Court, Planned Parenthood harvests unborn baby parts with impunity, and ISIS is cutting off the heads of Christians (and gays), with our government doing absolutely nothing about it.  What kind of country have we become?
   There are important ‘big picture’ questions to be asked.  First, how did the culture become toxic so quickly?  Secondly, how did this happen right underneath the American Church’s nose?  Thirdly, how do we reverse course?  Finally, what if it is too late?
   I have been pondering these issues for almost two decades.  In 2008, after almost ten years as a professional church worker, I founded Athanatos Christian Ministries, an apologetics ministry.  Apologetics is the defense of the Christian faith.  ACM is similar in many respects to other organizations that defend the faith, but it is unique in some important areas.  Each area reflects its own answer to the questions raised above.
