Calling Evil 'Good'

   Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light, and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”

   Did you know that God says “woe”  as an act of judgement, 103 times in the Old testament and Jesus says it 35 times in the New testament? God says “love” 131 times in the Old Testament and 173 times in the New Testament Bible. Why would God spend so much time on “woe?” 

   My opinion is that mankind needs to be jolted out of our selves all the time, so we take Jesus seriously. I will admit to you all that when it comes to spiritual disciplines, I can be very lazy and get side-tracked by all kinds of things from this world; but this article is not so much about me or my brothers and sisters out there that know the difference between calling evil good, or good evil. It is about our society around us, everywhere we look as people are doing this. 

   We all know we fight against spiritual powers, that their main strength is the lies we believe on TV, in schools, colleges, newspapers, magazines, etc.  Our culture is feeding everyone’s minds.  You do not have to travel far to hear someone preaching evil as good, or good as evil.
