Let Us All Show a Little More Kindness

   Yes, we are now living in a different world.  Now some of our NFL players are not even respecting our National Anthem.

   Now let’s all do our part, 1 Peter 1:7, “Brotherly kindness!”  Let’s all show a little more kindness.  Consider what recently happened with strangers helping strangers in Las Vegas and Texas.

   I didn’t know when in early July, responding to the tug of the Holy Spirit, I hung my hat, so to speak, on 2 Corinthians 12:9.  When the Lord Jesus spoke to Paul the apostle, He said, “My grace is sufficient for you.”  Amen!

   Yes, that is a very familiar verse to most of you reading this message.  I, for one, knew it since 1969.  But now I REALLY know it!  Praise God!

   I put it into practice.  The Lord didn’t fix all my problems like I would have liked Him to do, but He did even better.  He gave me more grace or maybe I just leaned on the grace that I had in the first place.  I’m still the better for it.

   Now, maybe it’s not fair to use myself as an example.  I’m now past 80 years old and not trying to do all that I did even five years ago.  But I’m very much still “in the game,” so to speak.  I’m still very active working part time and much involved in church and ra ...
