What Would Jesus Tell the Church Today

    Jesus spoke to the churches in the book of Revelation. What would He say to OUR churches today?  We all know that about 50 years ago, America was not as morally bankrupt as it is today. Now we could blame God for not sending great revivals as He has done in the past. I know that during the ‘70s, God was working through His Word and Spirit, and many people became true born-again believers. Throughout these past 50 years, millions have become believers in other countries. God is always faithful to His purposes. 

   I became a believer in the ‘80s. I am sure that during these past 50 years here in America, even though we, as a nation, have become so perverted, (and I mean PERVERTED when people can not identify girls from boys), that Jesus is still saving people. Now I know the true church knows how perverted our society has become, but why does it not stop? Jesus is not to be blamed, so we have to say something is wrong with His church. Jesus always works through His church, there is no other means that He uses that I know of. 

   Therefore, we must ask ourselves why does the church not have the influence in America as it did 50 years ago? What would Jesus say to the church today? I am not the apostle John, and Jesus has not given me any new revelation.  These are my own thoughts, hopefully through the discernment of the Spirit.
