Believe because YOU believe Him, not because someone else claims to, or tells you to. Many believe something because their parents, friends, preachers, or someone else is inclined to. Vicarious belief is no belief at all! No matter what church attended on Sunday, come Monday no one can recognize a Living Lord in the daily lives of many of the Church attendants. If you want a REALGod then YOU must personally believe God because YOU believe Him. Once you receive Him, it does not make a difference what anyone else acknowledges, or what affiliation you may belong to. Some belong to large affiliations for the vicarious delusional prestige adjoined to it. Jesus says: “If YOU will come after Me.....FOLLOW ME.” Everyone and everything is excluded in Matthew 10:37-38, & 19:27-29.
Many get hooked, or caught up on pre-digested messages and pre-mistaken traditions and follow these messengers and bow down to them. This is nothing new. People of old tried bowing down to Peter and Paul also, and their reply was: “Please don’t bow down to us. We are men like you are!” Acts 10:26; 14: 14-15. In Germany, Martin Luther’s followers started bowing down to him, and his response was the same as Peter and Paul’s.
