Editor, Wisconsin Christian News:Christians tend to stay in their churches bolstered by their four walls. When I speak to Christian evangelists on the street, not the “nutters,” who are sent out by their churches to “evangeliz,” I ask them why there are so few REAL Christians in government and elected office? This is puzzling.
America was founded by Christian men and women who took part in every part of life. They looked at politics as part of making the American Dream. Today you can’t find a real Christian in politics. The day when we allowed the Leftists to take charge of politics and policies was the worst day in American history.
The idea that there is a separation of church and state is quite correct that church leaders, Popes and Pastors shouldn’t push religion on the state. However, Christians have taken this to the point where Christians keep out of politics and government. That’s just not right. The Founding Fathers of America were men of God and faith whereby they based their ideas on Christian principles, but you can hardly find a Christian principle in governance today, and that’s just wrong.
Interestingly enough, the same Leftist people who denounced Christianity and Christian principles in schools, colleges, universities, politics and policies have no qualms about Islam in the same institutions. They once demanded that God stay out of schools and everything “state,” but they are quite happy today with allowing allah in those places.
I have tried to get Christians more involved in the workings of the State, but they refuse to budge. Not sure how to get them to see that it’s in their best interest to get involved. If it’s okay for Islam, then why isn’t it okay for Christianity? Perhaps you could shed some light on this for me?
I am going to say one last thing and try not to be offended. Christianity is dying and being replaced by Islam. This is the truth. Democrat and Liberal politicians have been pushing this since 1990. The first Muslim school in Canada was my old Junior High school. Our newspaper wrote about it in a three part stage how wonderful that an Islamic school was in our midst. The problem they didn’t grasp was that tax dollars were used to pay for these, what should be Private Schools. My letter to the Editor on that story was printed in our local newspaper and the editor’s comment was that I was “Islamophobic.”
It proves that news people fail at reading, writing and comprehension skills. My rebuttal was that what I wrote was about our paying school taxes for a private institution, that there is “a separation of church and state,” that no other minority faith was receiving this largesse, that Christians were forced to give up even “The Lord’s Prayer” and Christian principles in schools — all allegedly based on “separation of church and state.” So, my question is, “Why are Muslims being treated so special?” Is it because of their religion? All that hate for Christianity and God... but the Left now has a love affair with Islam and Allah.
