The Cultural Importance of Passing on Truth

   Judges 2:10, “And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.”

   The United States of America has always been a Judeo-Christian country. 

   The United States was founded by Bible believing men and women who worshipped the one true God and who made sure to teach their children the Bible and about the times the Lord delivered a nation after that nation repented after falling away. 

   The Bible was used to teach children to read and write, not only at home but in the schools as well. Bible verse memorization was the norm. When these children grew up they taught their children the same way. 

   The Truth was “Passed On” in our country.

   These Bible believing citizens knew what happened when a generation was not taught about the one true God and His mighty works. In the book of Judges we read that the generation that knew not the Lord or His works followed and bowed to other gods and provoked the Lord to anger. 

   The hand of the Lord was against them for this evil and worst of all the Lord left those nations. There is no fate worse than having the one true God leave you. This means He was with you until you left Him.
