Britain (great, no longer) put Alfie Evans to death without due process. Alfie, almost two years old, had violated no criminal codes; but alas, he about to commit a “civil crime” for which he would pay with his life: he would become an economic burden to the state, if left alive.
In fact, there may have even been a positive cash flow motive in hastening his death. But we don’t know that and we probably never will because Britain’s politicians, bureaucrats and state-employed medical personnel want you to ignore what is “behind the curtain.” And United States politicians, bureaucrats, insurance companies, medical researchers, organ transplant teams and hospitals, also don’t want you to examine the unseen hands at work in this horrible story.
