History Repeats Itself in 2018

   Who hasn’t seen all the student marches?  I commend them, but I wish they were marching FOR the Bill of Rights and the freedoms we have.  Do they even know about Communism and Hitler?  (He was a Nazi).

   My first husband (deceased) was part German,  His Dad’s family came from Germany in the 1930s.  Hitler took over in 1933.  At first, he promised people a “rose garden,” jobs for everyone (Government jobs).  Sounded good.

   They then needed “equal rights” so women went to work.  Since they were now working, there had to be government-controlled day care for the kids.

   Then came National Youth Day - MANDATORY attendance - on Sunday.  The kids were happy, but the parents were very troubled.  Where was there any time for worship?  In catholic schools, the crucifix was replaced by Hitler’s photo.  And unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby “for Hitler.”

   The draft came, compelling everyone to give one year to the military.  There already was a full-employment law, so women and girls were all working or in the military.  The girls worked on farms during the day and returned to military training at the barracks, just like the boys.
