Only ONE Way to God

   The entire plan of salvation is by grace and the “one” Scriptural baptism in Acts 2:38 is a part of that grace.  If you are willing and able to comply with it, but you then refuse, then you have not obtained that grace.  The word “grace” cannot save you.  You must have your sins forgiven by God and by His way.  God’s way is through Jesus only.  There is only one way to be in Jesus (Galatians 3:26-27, Romans 6:1-10).

   Of course, God is sovereign and can do as He pleases, but it’s doubtful that He will stray from the Word that He has presented to us.  For religious people and others who persecute those who became members of the Lord’s Church via Acts 2:14-41, and even deny the “one” Scriptural baptism, it looks like they will not have a happy eternity.  Read the parable of the wedding banquet.

   God’s anger was finished when Jesus died on the cross and Jesus became the way to the Father.  That’s why you must be clothed and united with Jesus in your personal water baptism of Acts 2:38.
