Righteousness Exalts a Nation, but Sin is a Reproach to Any People!

   Well here we are again, wondering who we should vote for this fall. And we should be wise in whom we choose, because they pass laws that affect all of us. We should want leaders who are honest, who truly care about the people and not just their own agendas. We need leaders who believe in righteousness! 

   But what we need most of all is RIGHTEOUSNESS to become the norm here in our nation.  All the laws we pass are because people refuse to live righteously. Think about it. If someone didn’t abuse drugs, would we need laws to protect us and them from abuse?  

   If you look at all the problems we have here in America, it is because of unrighteous behavior. From the President down to the lowest person like me. If I choose to live unrighteously,  someone will have to make another law to stop me from hurting myself and others. And where do we find how to live righteously? From God’s Word, the Bible. 

   We Americans are stupid people. “Stupid,” in the Bible is referring to people who do not regard God’s righteousness as important for everyday living.  We have a history founded on Biblical principles, we have churches on every corner in every city.  We have Bibles everywhere right at our finger tips, yet we ignore God’s righteousness like the plague.
