I could not take the dishonesty and false teachings that infest every aspect of the public-school curriculum any longer. Freedom from the corruption came with a lot of pushback from many people. They were angry at my decision and had made that very clear. They believed the lies that not only if you are homeschooled will you not get the education that you need to be successful, but also, that I would become a hermit and all my social skills would somehow disappear.
Both lies are widely accepted in our culture today and are successfully used to deter people from homeschooling. In modern America today, people are more concerned with following the masses, rather than going against the social norm and having their child educated with a Biblical foundation.
Even though public schools have been exposed for pushing the LGBTQ agenda, anti-free speech, sex education, false historical teachings, and scientific deceptions, parents still think it is in their best interest to send their child to public school.
